Established in 2008, SCI is committed to rights-based participatory development, advocating for good governance, democratization, improved livelihoods, and social services for marginalized groups. Through its program strategy, SCI works at both policy and practice levels, engaging with remote communities affected by disasters, conflicts, and climate change. It also collaborates with a broad spectrum of stakeholders, including civil society groups, organizations, coalitions, and networks. SCI promotes the active participation of marginalized groups, linking them with other civil society networks, and strives to address the structural causes to create an equal society individuals exercise their rights with dignity and respect.
